The primary audience for the conference is midwives, but anyone with an interest in maternal and newborn health is welcome and can benefit from the conference. This includes nurses, doulas, physicians, researchers, policy makers, allied health professionals, administrators, instructors and more.
Absolutely. CAM strives to create an inclusive environment for the conference so that all delegates feel welcome and safe. Please note, whenever possible, CAM will make gender-neutral washrooms available at the conference venue.
In order to qualify for the special student rate you must be a member of CAM and be actively involved in an apprenticeship with a practicing midwife or be attending an accredited midwifery program. A letter from your preceptor or school stating this relationship must be emailed to at the time of your registration.
If you are registered for the full conference, you will receive breakfast, lunch and breaks on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16, as well as access to the Opening Night Ceremony and Reception on Wednesday, October 14 and to the CAM Social Event on Thursday, October 15 where light snacks and refreshments will be served.

Cancellations postmarked or received at least 20 days before the first day of the conference are subject to a $75.00 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after that date.
Conference registrations can be transferred to another person if there is no change to the billing arrangements and that the new name has been communicated to the CAM office, prior to the start of the conference.
All speakers must pay and register themselves for the conference.
