Full time<\/p>\n

Island Health is recruiting a registered midwife to join a team of six other Registered Midwives who are well-integrated members of the multi-disciplinary maternity care team in the community of Duncan, BC on Vancouver Island.<\/p>\n

This position is well suited for midwives who desire a moderate caseload. A focus on being collaborative and a team player is important for this position. Experience participating in MoreOB and inter-disciplinary initiatives is an asset.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be invited to apply for privileges at the Cowichan Valley Hospital.  There is an expectation that the successful midwife will register for and complete the San\u2019yas Indigenous Cultural Safety training.<\/p>\n
