MIDWIFERY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
\nThe Regina area of the Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking additional midwives to join the
\nmidwifery team in Regina, Saskatchewan. There are currently two (2) PFT employment Opportunities.
\nThe midwives practicing in Regina are committed to building the practice to ensure midwifery services
\nare better able to meet the growing interest in the community. Both new and general registrants are
\nwelcome to apply.<\/p>\n
The Regina Midwives are employees of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As such, they are well
\nintegrated into the medical system and enjoy positive working relationships with their nursing and
\nobstetrical colleagues. They are privileged at the Regina General Hospital and have a newly renovated
\nclinic space in close driving distance to the hospital. They strongly value teamwork and strive to provide

Reporting to the Manager, the midwife works collaboratively with other professionals on a multidisciplinary health care team that provides effective, comprehensive services to childbearing women
\nand their families. The midwife is a person who has acquired the requisite qualifications to be
\nregistered and\/or legally licensed to practice midwifery in Saskatchewan.
