Airdrie Briar Hill Midwives is an established practice situated in Airdrie, Alberta, a community close to Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. We are a satellite office of Briar Hill Midwives, Calgary\u2019s longest established midwifery practice.<\/p>\n
Airdrie Briar Hill Midwives provides midwifery care to clients in Airdrie and the surrounding rural communities facilitating maternity care closer to client\u2019s homes. We are currently looking for two midwives to join our team.<\/p>\n
We provide client-centred, individualized care that respects each client\u2019s unique needs and beliefs leading to compassionate, individualized maternity care. This is achieved through informed choice, evidence-based practice, continuity of care and choice of place for birth.<\/p>\n
Interested Applicants must have:<\/strong> Applications:<\/strong>
General Registrant Practice Permit from the College of Midwives of Alberta (current or eligible to obtain)
Registrations with Alberta Association of Midwives
Privileges, or ability to obtain, with Alberta Health Services Provincial Midwifery Administrative Office
Current CPR, NRP and Emergency Skills\/ALARM Certification
An enthusiastic interest for rural midwifery care
Effective, healthy communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and with other professionals in the multidisciplinary maternity care team
