NEEDED: MIDWIVES IN VANCOUVER<\/p>\n
I am looking for Registered Midwives who are the right fit to join my lovely established practice in the heart of Vancouver. Currently there is a full time caseload for 2-3 midwives. We have many repeat clients and word of mouth referrals. Ideally I am looking for 1 Midwife for now and possibly more in the future. We have had in the past a great schedule that allowed for work life balance and we supported each other in taking vacations. Applicants are required to be currently registered (or able to become registered ASAP), and be eligible for the Privileges at BC Women\u2019s or St Paul\u2019s Hospital. I would like someone to start as soon as possible- if you want to work solo, be a team of 2, or Postpartum\/ Lactation consultant midwife you are welcome to apply. I am happy to discuss options.<\/p>\n
Pacific Midwifery is a well established practice located at the entrance of beautiful Granville Island in Vancouver. The office is easily accessible by car, bike, bus, aqua bus and has onsite underground parking. The clinic includes a large but cozy lounge
area where we have held prenatal classes and we also have a lactation consultant on the team. We have a bright clinic room for seeing clients. There are plenty of amenities around the clinic like cafes, restaurants, market, theatres and the lovely seawall.<\/p>\n
Our clinic coordinator works full time in the office and contends with the majority of the admin work, including billings, referrals, faxing, filing and scheduling clients. We use Oscar for electronic charting and SR fax.<\/p>\n
We have a healthy, active home and hospital birth population. The midwives at Pacific support one another and willingly cover each other as needed.<\/p>\n
