Hawthorne Midwives is a busy practice that serves the Milton and North West Mississauga communities. Our practice focuses on improving access and the provision of care to high social risk clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Our clinic is located in quaint downtown Milton with hospital privileges at Milton District Hospital. We practice full scope midwifery and have excellent relationships with the health care team at the hospital and in the community. Halton Healthcare requires all staff and those with privileges to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.<\/p>\n
Milton is part of the GTA and is known for its rapid growth, and combines urban amenities with a suburban feel. The town\u2019s proximity to major highways makes it accessible for midwives to reside in surrounding areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hawthorne Midwives serves a diverse community and a second language would be an asset. At Hawthorne Midwives we believe that client care and midwife work balance is enhanced with a collaborative team approach. We work in a shared care model but are open to flexible models of care. The General Registrant position also has the flexibility to be part time or full time. Both positions have the potential to become permanent.<\/p>\n
The practice provides a monthly stipend for cell phone expenses, and EMR subscription and hospital privileging fees will be covered.\u00a0<\/p>\n
