New Life Midwives in Bowmanville is looking for an energetic, self-motivated General Registrant to join our growing practice. Applicants must qualify for registration with the College of Midwives of Ontario to be considered for this position.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are a busy practice of 10 midwives working in Durham Region and Northumberland County. We practice full scope midwifery and have excellent interprofessional relationships.<\/p>\n

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We have \u201cWest\u201d and \u201cEast\u201d teams with a mix of privileges at Markham-Stouffville Hospital\u2019s Alongside Midwifery Unit and<\/p>\n
Northumberland Hills Hospital. We are looking for someone to join a « west » team of three with hospital privielges at Alongside Midwifery Unit.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We provide care to an increasingly diverse population, Midwives practising with New Life benefit from very supportive hospital relationships, being valued members of the team at both the AMU and NHH, and many opportunities for leadership roles within our community. New Life Midwives also boast a thriving home birth community across the Region.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate would start clinic in early 2025, and on-call<\/p>\n
March 2025.<\/p>\n
New Life Midwives value work life balance and the successful candidate may have the option to work in a shared call model, or primary call, with opportunities to provide expanded midwifery care work.<\/p>\n
