Rosehips Midwifery is a diverse team of Registered Midwives living and working on the beautiful territory of the Lekwungen-speaking people (Greater Victoria, BC) We are seeking a new reg midwife ASAP to assist with our busy caseload. We can offer support and empathetic compassionate leadership within an experienced team of midwives.<\/p>\n
This full scope position is suitable for a new registrant. The New Reg will be a member of a\u00a0 four-person shared care team. The team uses a point system for compensation and overhead. We pay ourselves additional for holidays and cover overhead for vacation. .<\/p>\n
Rosehips Midwifery is built on a passion for culturally safe, trauma informed care. We work with a broad spectrum of patients, of whom approximately 80% have no access to primary care other than through urgent or emergency services. We serve many clients who are new to Canada. We offer a supportive and collaborative workplace that centres both patient care and the wellness of clinicians and staff.<\/p>\n
Our cozy clinic space is located in the Hillside\/Oaklands neighbourhood, across the street from Hillside mall, and is on several major bus lines. We are supported by an excellent MOA who provides full time support for our clinic. We use Accuro for electronic charting and scheduling. We look forward to hearing from you.
