Our services and programs are designed to provide accessible, culturally responsive and compassionate care for pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families. We are pleased to welcome\u00a0new Casual\/Relief Registered Midwives\u00a0to our Preventive Care and Wellness Clinic<\/p>\n<p>This walk-in clinic supports vulnerable populations, including newcomers, members of the African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) community, LGBTQIA+ individuals and other underserved groups. The clinic provides locally informed, culturally responsive interventions and clinical care to advance access to healthcare services with a focus on health promotion and preventative care. <em>We offer both walk-in and virtual care services 5 days\/week, including evenings and weekends.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>SEOCHC is seeking highly skilled Registered Midwife(s) interested in working within an interprofessional team including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Lactation Consultants, social workers and administrative assistants to provide education, screening, assessments and wellness support. The Registered Midwife will perform this work according to the standards of practice outlined by the College of Midwives of Ontario and the policies and protocols established at SEOCHC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Midwife (RM) in good standing with the College of Midwives of Ontario<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of two years of experience practising as a Registered Midwife<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of clinical professional values, ethics and standards of practice<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with trauma-informed, culturally responsive and anti-oppressive care practices<\/li>\n<li>Alignment with harm reduction, social determinants of health, health equity and cultural humility<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable providing care in a variety of settings and engaging clients who may take time to build trust<\/li>\n<li>Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on health outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license, insurance, and use of a personally owned vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with PS Suite and EPIC (electronic health records) is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in French and other languages is considered an asset.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hourly rate range:\u00a0 $53.97 &#8211; $63.82<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit your resume with a cover letter to:<a href=\"https:\/\/seochc.bamboohr.com\/careers\/288?source=aWQ9MTE%3D\"> https:\/\/seochc.bamboohr.com\/careers\/288<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For more information on our Centre, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seochc.on.ca\">www.seochc.on.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your interest.
