This means investing in one another, fostering mentorship, creating a safe and open work environment, and being attentive to what we need\u2014individually and collectively\u2014to maintain sustainability and work-life balance.<\/p>\n<p>What We Have to Offer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 18-month contract with the possibility of renewal<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Seeking a General Registrant Midwife<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Calgary AHS hospital privileges available <\/strong>for the successful applicant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location &amp; Facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Clinic relocating in April 2026 to a larger space in the Reilly Park Professional Building in <strong>Kensington (trendy, lots of shops)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Five clinic rooms <\/strong>in a <strong>centrally located, transit and LRT accessible<\/strong> location<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minutes from Arbour Birth Centre and Foothills Medical Centre<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice Model &amp; Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Primary hospital: <strong>Rockyview General Hospital<\/strong>, with support from the <strong>In-House Midwifery Program (24hr midwifery triage and induction, early labour support)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Small, established practice with an intimate team-based approach<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong community reputation with high rates of repeat clients and referrals<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Options for solo, supported solo, or team-based care<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Database and website access for direct client intakes<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Fair, transparent invoicing and a fair contract<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Reliable, dedicated <strong>backup coverage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Mentorship<\/strong> across all experience levels\u2014we value learning from one another<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Strong commitment to supporting midwifery students and new registrants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 In-house NRP recertification<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice Midwifery Your Way<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We recognize and respect that every midwife has unique strengths and styles.
