What we are looking for:
• Midwives that reflect our communities: We warmly welcome applications from all midwives – Indigenous, BPOC, and 2 Spirit midwives are especially invited to apply
• Midwives with experience managing epidurals and oxytocin
• A strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and collective support
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills to address barriers to care
• Experience working with Indigenous people, gender-diverse individuals, and other marginalized communities is an asset
• Ability to understand and articulate effects of colonialism on the social determinants of health
• Relevant life experience: land based work, cultural reclamation and revitalization, community organizing, harm reduction, activism

• Full Scope midwifery, including epidural and oxytocin management
• Co-located in the Toronto Birth Centre
• A supportive on-call schedule, alternating 1 week on call/1 week off call
• 15 weeks of holiday per 12 month period!
• LOTS of other interesting projects and learning opportunities to get involved in (community work, research, interprofessional work etc).
