Abortion Care Community of Practice – Lunch & Learn Series

CAM is excited to share that we will be launching a series of community of practice lunch and learn sessions on abortion care, starting in the fall of 2025 and running until the spring of 2027!

The first four sessions will take place in September, October, December 2025 and January 2026, with 4-5 more sessions in 2026-2027.

The next sessions will address midwifery implementation of abortion care, working with equity-deserving populations, myths and biases around contraception, telehealth, 1st trimester pregnancy loss and gender-inclusive care, among other topics.

Stay tuned for more information soon!

Although these sessions are primarily for CAM members, people can be added on an individual basis. If you wish to participate and are not a CAM member, please send a message to vperrault@canadianmidwives.org.
