Through the CART Access Project, CAM developed several resources to support the integration of midwives as abortion care providers in Canada. CAM recognizes that abortion care is an essential and basic component of healthcare. It is part of the care that midwives provide globally, as affirmed by the International Confederation of Midwives. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of some of the different resources that were produced, including the National Strategy for midwife-led abortion care and policy resources. The aim of the webinar is to enhance midwives’ knowledge of the midwifery model of abortion care.
