There’s still time to join: APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 15
Dear CAM members,
CAM is looking for members interested in participating in the CAM Conference Program Committee for the 2021 Virtual Conference, Knovember, to take place November 2-5, 2021.
Composition:
The Committee is made up of a Chairperson from CAM, at least two faculty members of midwifery education programs (preferably from different jurisdictions), and a member of NACM. CAM also encourages participation of student members and of members who represent the diversity of Canadian midwives on this committee.
Goals and Objectives:
- Research and select interesting keynote/invited speakers and workshops.
- Review all submitted abstracts.
- Build a bilingual 4-day program based on the results of the Scientific Abstract Review and recommended Keynotes and Workshops.
- Contribute to building an Anti-Racism in Midwifery OR Equity in Healthcare Symposium as part of the virtual conference.
Meetings:
The Committee will meet by video conference as needed in July-October to complete a list of keynote/invited speakers and to choose the abstracts and complete the conference program.
Tentative Meeting Schedule (subject to change)
1st Meeting: Week of July 19 (90 min)
2nd Meeting: Week of August 16 (120 min)
3rd Meeting: Week of September 6 (120 min)
4th Meeting: Week of October 4 (60 min)
