TK Pritchard and Eby Heller will join Valérie Perrault to discuss their experiences as non-binary
individuals receiving midwifery care in Ontario and Quebec. TK and Eby bring authenticity, humour and unique perspectives to a conversation that encourages everyone to reflect on how midwives can best welcome their trans and non-binary clients. This is a safe space to ask questions and learn!
TK Prichard
TK is Executive Director of Abortion Care Canada and brings over 15 years of experience, primarily focused in sexual health and gender-based violence prevention. TK has authored various educational curricula, including sexual health and anti-human trafficking programs, and served as a consultant related to trans and disability inclusion. TK is the proud parent of a seven-year-old.
Eby Heller
Eby is a third year midwifery student at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, former Director of Advocacy & Communications at CAM and proud parent of two children (ages 10 and 13), . Eby has also appeared on the Strength in Practice podcast :#6 Midwifery Care Beyond the Gender Binary.
