The newly revised Position Statement on Home Birth from the Canadian Association of Midwives is now available! Thank to our members (Liz Darling RM PhD, Tasha MacDonald RM MHSc, Beth Murray-Davis RM PhD, Angela Reitsma MSc, RM, Vicki Van Wagner RM PhD, Saraswathi Vedam RM FACNM MSN Sci D(hc) )who contributed to updating our position statement. The updated document will be part of CAM’s “Place of Birth” series. What can you expect later this year? In the Fall of 2019, we plan to release position statements on midwife-led hospital births and birth centers.
