Royal Inland Hospital Perinatal Service
We are URGENTLY seeking Registered Midwives to provide locum coverage in Kamloops, British Columbia for on-call shifts within Royal Inland Hospital. We have an incredibly supportive, collegial team, new labour and delivery unit, dedicated on call rooms, and a truly beautiful work environment.
Midwives are deeply valued and respected at our site with 70-90% of perinatal call shifts covered by Registered Midwives at our tertiary level hospital in recent months.
Kamloops call shifts have volumes of approximately 100 deliveries per month. Our dedicated perinatal nursing staff are amazing and we have 24/7 OB/GYN, pediatrics, and anesthesiology services. We also have an OBIM team, perinatal psychiatry, and a robust Public Health Maternity Care program.
Shifts are day 08:00-20:00, night 20:00-08:00, or 24 hours 08:00-08:00.
