May 5th is International Day of the Midwife and this year we’re celebrating for a whole month! Join us from May 5 – June 5, 2023, as we honour the amazing midwives in our lives.
We invite you to share a photo and a short story or caption about a special midwife in your life. Whether it’s your midwife or a midwife colleague, friend or family member, tell us why you want to celebrate them!
Here’s how to join the campaign:
- Post your photo and caption to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtags #IDM2023 and #CelebrateMidwives OR send it in to communications@canadianmidwives.org.
- Each week we will repost a selection of submissions to CAM’s social media, as well as include one story and photo in our newsletter.
